Examples include, but are not limited to: financial support to the institution or to the investigator from a pharmaceutical company or other commercial source for work reported in the session or other work involving similar subject matter; any special financial interest
(i.e. stock ownership, consultation fees etc) on the part of the author or member of his/her family in the subject of the abstract.

In order to evaluate your abstract, the Congress is required to gather and disclose information about aspects of your professional or personal circumstances pertinent to the research submitted. The Scientific Committee requires that you provide any relevant information concerning commercial relationships specific to this abstract. Such disclosure will be stated in the CD Rom of abstracts. The presenting author is responsible for this information.

You must disclose the relationship and state the name of the company.

You will be sent an acknowledgement via e-mail to confirm that you’re abstract has been accepted. If you do not receive the acknowledgement by May 30th, 2008, please contact the scientific committee through gfmolina@dinoh.org.

Abstract Award

The IADH Award Competition is designed to provide an opportunity for junior practitioners to present
the result of her/his work at the Biennial IADH Congress. All contributors to the scientific programme
of the IADH Congress, who have not passed their 36th birthday at the time of the Congress, mayenter the competition.

There will be two awards for the best research project
(Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation) and two awards
for a project of a more clinically oriented nature
(Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation) .


The candidate’s name must be listed fi rst on the abstract
form, as the primary author and presenter of the paper/poster entered in competition.
In order to be considered for the competition the work must be original and must not have been
published or presented earlier at any national or international scientific meeting.
Candidates should submit their abstract by the deadline set for submission of abstracts. They must
indicate on the abstract form (by clicking the appropriate box) that they are entering their presentation
for the IADH Awards Competition and specify which category.
